Table Mountain

Ride the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway from the Lower Cable Station on Tafelberg Road to the summit of Table Mountain, roughly 1,067 metres above Cape Town and part of Table Mountain National Park. The rotating cable cars turn a full circle during the short ascent, so every guest gets a view across the City Bowl, Table Bay and Robben Island.

At the top, clients can follow the easy, well-marked summit paths to viewpoints over the Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay, then visit the summit café and shop before riding back down at their own pace.

The cableway operates subject to weather. High winds, rain or low cloud can pause operations at short notice, so we recommend keeping a flexible slot in the itinerary.
