About this activity
Head to the southern tip of the Cape Peninsula and the Cape of Good Hope section of Table Mountain National Park, a rugged reserve of fynbos, sea cliffs and sweeping ocean views south of Cape Town.
At Cape Point, the Flying Dutchman Funicular carries visitors up towards the old lighthouse, and walking paths lead on to viewpoints above False Bay and the Atlantic. A short drive away, the Cape of Good Hope sign marks the most south-westerly point of the African continent and is a favourite photo stop.
The reserve is home to eland, bontebok, ostriches and chacma baboons. Guests should keep food out of sight and keep a respectful distance from all wildlife.
